Dr Shwan Karim graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2007 and completed his Gastroenterology training in Christchurch, New Zealand prior to seeking advance fellowships in Interventional Endoscopy at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane and Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS trust, London.
Shwan is committed to providing high quality practice in General Gastroenterology, in addition to endoscopy including Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Advanced colonic polypectomy, and Pancreato-Biliary endoscopy (ERCP & Endoscopic Ultrasound).
Dr Karim also has a public appointment as a staff specialist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Outside of his professional life, Shwan enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and exercising.
