Dr Jeff Chao provides clinical management for a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders and a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Dr Chao graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand and subsequently undertaken his physician training in Queensland, predominantly at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Upon completing his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepato
He is currently working as a staff specialist at the Princess Alexandra hospital with a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. In addition to his clinical commitments, Dr Chao has also published original research in multiple international peer-reviewed medical journals and is involved with international clinical trials on advanced therapy.
